The Standing Committee of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation has approved a proposal for a new WtE project. The proposal comprises the construction of a 15 MW WtE plant, which is projected to be able to process 1,500 tons of waste per day. According to The Hindu, the construction site will be located near the Narela-Bawana Road. Further information regarding technical and financial details are yet to be made public.
