The New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (Noida), Uttar Pradesh, is likely to open a tender for 4 projects including the planned WtE plant in Sector 123. According to Nyoooz, the authorities plan to enter the construction phase within 2 months after the tender process is completed. After opposition from residents regarding the location of the planned WtE plant, the authorities have now received permission to proceed with the project from the Allahabad High Court. However, the technology to be installed has not yet been announced.
