WtE projects in Andhra Pradesh seem to progress

According to the state’s chief minister, construction works at the planned WtE projects in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh seem to proceed at the moment. Reportedly, a total of 12 different WtE projects are being implemented. According to The New Indian Express, construction works have begun at all sites and the projects are expected to have a combined electricity generation capacity of 70 MW. The new projects are said to be carried out, amongst others, in the towns of Vizac, Guntur, Tirupati, Nellore, Kadapa and Tadepallegudem. According to earlier information, the WtE projects should be finished by March 2018, however, they might face a delay in schedule.
