WtE proposal in Thiruvananthapuram still being pursued

The plans for the development of a WtE facility in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is still being pursued, reports The Times of India.

As the source indicates, the only remaining obstacle seems to be finding a suitable land for the construction. According to a recent statement by the Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan made in the Kerala Legislative Assembly, there were plans for WtE facilities in eight clusters as well as in Thiruvananthapuram. As further stated by the Chief minister, current steps include identifying the land for the respective facilities.
