228 MW of biomass power generated in Chhattisgarh

As reported by The Pioneer, the Indian state of Chhattisgarh has announced to have achieved a generation of 228 MW of biomass power. This supports the aim of the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, which wants the country to have 10 GW of biomass projects by 2022. India, as a whole, has already implemented 8.2 GW in biomass projects.
