5 MSW plants under construction in Raipur and Durg-Bhilai

According to central government officials, 5 municipal solid waste (MSW) plants are currently being constructed in Raipur and Durg-Bhilai. As reported by The Pioneer, the Swachh Bharat Mission under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs provides incentives of up to 35% of the costs of Solid Waste Management projects including Waste-to-Energy plants.
