Adani to build biogas plant in Rajkot

Oil and gas company Adani Group has announced to have secured an order from the Rajkot Municipal Corporation for a biogas project at the former Nakrawadi landfill in Rajkot, Gujarat.

Adani should design, build, finance, own, and operate the project. Once operational, it should process 250 tpd of organic municipal waste and other locally sourced waste to produce CNG.

Investment costs are estimated to amount to up to INR 850 million (EUR 9.56 million).
