Emission problems reported for three Delhi WtE plants

The Okhla, Ghazipur and Bawana WtE plants have been blamed of causing environmental pollution in Delhi, according to the Financial Express. According to a joint inspection committee from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the three plants were reported to the National Green Tribunal, stating that they were not in compliance with the particulate matter emmission standards. The tribunal panel has issued a warning with a likely imposition of fine on the plants if the emission standards are not met.
