The WtE plant in Jawahar Nagar, which should be operational at the end of the year, is going to create higher costs than previously thought, as reported by The Hindu. Main reason for that should be the used technology including flue gas treatment. The project will cost around EUR 42.5 million. As already reported in June, the plant will generate 19.8 Mwel out of 2,000 tpd of RDF as well as 350 tpd of MSW.
