Hindalco to build new copper and e-waste recycling plant in India

According to a news report, Hindalco Industries plans to invest INR 20 billion (EUR 0.22 billion) in the establishment of a copper and e-waste recycling plant in India.

In the first quarter of FY23, the company recorded a consolidated net profit of INR 24.54 billion (EUR 0.27 billion) and a 14% year-on-year increase in consolidated turnover. Hindalco is an aluminium manufacturing company belonging to the Aditya Birla Group,
