Japanese firm JFE Engg. roped in for Kozhikode WtE project

Japan-based JFE Engineering Ltd will offer technical assistance for the upcoming waste-to-energy facility in Kozhikode.

Sharing the news on his social media, Chief Minister Mr Pinarayi Vijayan said the company has experience building more than 350 waste disposal facilities through out the globe.

“For the project, they have promised tech and building-related cooperation. According to Business Standard, the government wants to finish building the plant within two years,” Mr Vijayan said.
