Kanjirapally to restore biogas plant

The Kerala State Commission for Minorities has directed the authorities in Kanjirapally, Kerala, to restore a biogas plant at the town hall, to manage the serious waste management problem in the region. As reported by The Hindu, the INR 30 lakh project was commissioned in 2013, but has not been operational since the last two years.
