The WtE project in Brahmapuram, Ernakulam district, Kerala, is still under discussion. According to the source, the Kochi Corporation has announced that an all-party meeting on this long-standing project will be held soon.
According to the report, the meeting will be convened before the first week of March 2023. The Corporation will also float a fresh tender seeking an agency to operate the existing MSW treatment plant at Brahmapuram, as the current contract expires on 1 March 2023.
