Editor According to the Business Standard, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanfara Palike (BBMP) and French-based company 3Wayste have recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a WtE plant in Chikkanagamangla. According to the MoU, BBMP will deliver 200 tpd of RDF from its processing plant as well as 300 tpd of MSW to the proposed WtE facility. The MoU also included to conduct a feasibility study, which is expected to be finished within 7 months. The investment sum of the project is expected to amount to INR 250 crore (USD 37 million).
