New 10 MW WtE plant proposed in Agar City

As reported by The Times of India, Spark Bresson Private Limited has applied to Taj Trapezium Zone (TTZ) (pollution control) authority for approval of a 10 MWel Waste-to-Energy facility in Agar City. The company wants to process at least 500 metric tons of municipal solid waste into electricity. According to civic body officials, plant construction is expected to start in January after approval by the pollution control authority. The plant is expected to begin operations after 18 months.
