Construction works have started on a new AD plant in Shankarpur Ghat, Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Plans to develop a new biogas facility were proposed at the Global Investors Summit, after which a plot of land near Shankarpur Ghat had been selected.
The future facility is to be fuelled with cow manure to produce 12 tpd of biomethane as fuel. Total costs for the project, managed by Lucknow-based company PKLS, are estimated to amount to INR 400 million (EUR 4.4 million).
