Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) will reportedly set up a battery recycling and production facility in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

The plant should be operating by 2026. The source does not mention the future size or the investment amount. This project is part of RIL’s plan to invest INR 75 million (EUR 8.3 million) into expanding the existing energy complex in Jamnagar on an area of 20 km².
