New C&D waste recycling plant in Pathuriaghata lacks input

Kolkata Municipal Corporation has directed the Public Works Department to send waste from buildings demolished by the Municipality to the Pathuriaghata C&D waste recycling plant in Kolkata, West Bengal.

The facility was commissioned in April 2023. It reportedly has a capacity of 500 tpd. According to the report, the plant is not receiving enough waste and is currently operating at a lower capacity.
