The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), which is responsible for solid waste management in Noida, will hold its second edition of the internal, competitive cleanliness survey on the lines of Swachh Survekshan.
GNIDA has invited applications from all residential societies generating bulk waste.
The last date to submit applications is December 10. The results will be out on January 3.
Winning residential societies, which are bulk waste generators, will get a prize of Rs 2 lakh.
The winner will be chosen on the basis of how well it monitors waste segregation, quantity of solid and liquid waste per day, their collection, transformation and disposal, reports The Times of India.
