Editor As of 31 December 2017, Indian independent renewable energy producer Orient Green Power Company Ltd has disinvested in 8 biomass subsidiaries to Janati Bio Power, subsidiary of Indian holding company SVL, which in turn is a promoter of Orient Green Power. As of September 2017, SVL was holding around 22% and Janati Bio Power was holding almost 5% of Orient Green Power. As reproted by moneycontrol, Janati Bio Power purchased the Orient Green Power’s subsidiaries for INR 490 million (USD 7.7 million).
