PEDA and GAIL to set up 10 new CBG plants

The Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) and public gas company GAIL India Limited have signed an agreement to develop 10 new CBG plants in Punjab.

According to the agreement, the plants should, in total, process 500,000 tpy of paddy straw. As further stated in the report, the plants are supposed to produce 35,000 tpy of CBG.

The total costs should amount to INR 6 billion (EUR 66.13 million).
