The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) was reported to have identified four possible plant sites for setting up WtE plants. These are located in Burdick and Khandewadi, Adagon, Sawangi and Tisgaon, respectively. As further stated by The Times of India, the projects would be financed by the state government of Maharashtra, while AMC would only have to provide the construction grounds. It is not clear what kind of technology is supposed to be installed at the proposed facilities.
