According to the Daily Times, the Punjab government is seeking investors from China for participating in the restructuring of its urban water and sanitation system as well as improving municipal solid waste management. For this purpose, the government will be organizing a roadshow in the last week of July, where different projects will be presented. The provincial government authority also plans to invite Chinese companies to participate in building a commercial-scale biogas plant. The future plant should have a capacity of more than 300 tpd of cattle waste. The biogas produced at the site should then be supplied to the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL).
