Editor The government of the state of Punjab has dropped its plans to set up a 13 MW WtE facility in the village of Jamsher. The plant was supposed to serve the 27 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) located in the Jalandhar cluster. The 27 ULBs produce around 1,200 tpd of waste. A hearing on the case was due to be held on 2 May. This was reported by Tribune India.
