According to The Times of India, a committee of Punjab’s legislative assembly has apparently asked the operator of a RDF plant near Ludhiana to increase the capacity of their facility. Specifically, the capacity should jump from currently 600 tpd to 1,200 tpd. The reason behind the move are high waste volumes in the Ludhiana region. The RDF facility is operated by an unnamed disposal contractor of the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation (LMC).
