Tender floated for Dwarka plant

The South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has floated tender for a new Waste-to-Energy plant in Dwarka, following the directive to stop dumping waste at the existing landfill sites. The SDMC has already identified a plot in Dwarka. The Dwarka plant will have the capacity of 1,300 metric tons, which is the same the existing Okhla Waste-to-Energy plant has. However, the source, The Times of India, does give any further information on the project.
