Test runs at Bidadi WtE plant to start soon

According to recent sources, the WtE plant in Bidadi, Karnataka, has been completed through a collaboration between the Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd (KPCL) and the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).

According to the source, the test operation of the 600 tpd, 11.5 MW plant is expected to begin within a couple of days. The plant was designed and built by Hitachi Zosen India Pvt Ltd, with the cooperation of ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd, based in Noida.

The plant, worth INR 2.6 billion (EUR 28.6 million), was partially financed through a financial agreement between state-owned Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).
