UNIDO to fund waste management projects in Mysuru City

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has approved a funding of INR 10 crores for the development of waste management projects in the Mysuru City Corporation. According to The Hindu, the project includes the remodelling of the existing compost plant in Vidyaranyapuram, the installation of a 300 tpd WtE plant in Rayanakere, and a small-scale biogas plant for treating market waste.
