Update on Patna WtE plant establishment

In a recent event, Patna Municipal Corporation has given an update on the establishment of the Patna WtE plant, as reported by The Times of India. It will be built at Ramchak Bairia, in the outskirts of Patna. INR 3,200 crores will be invested for establishing the 10 MW plant, capable of processing 700 tonnes of collected solid waste daily. The facility is expected to be constructed within 12 months. However, the initially expected start of operations in 2018 is not likely to be met.
