Waste-to-Energy plant to come up in Ambala

According to state health minister Anil Vij, the Haryana state government has approved about EUR 78 million for setting up a Waste-to-Energy plant in Ambala, the Business Standard reports. The plant will be constructed in the village of Patvi, with construction works expected to begin soon. A tender for the project has already been floated. However, the source does not give any further details on the project.
