Editor The Agra Municipal Corporation (AMC) has apparently tendered a WtE project as a part of its new waste management plan. The tender was said to be won by an unnamed multinational company, whose facility in Prague, Czech Republic, will be visited by AMC officials and Uttar Pradesh’s urban development minister in April. AMC would deliver up to 500 tpd of non-biodegradable waste to the proposed WtE plant (remark of ecoprog: the only WtE plant in Prague is operated by Prazské sluzby, a.s., a municipal company). This was reported by the Times of India.
