WtE plant planned near Pune city

A 7.5 MW WtE plant has been planned to be built in the Ramtekdi business district near Pune city. It is proposed to process 300 tonnes of waste daily and will be located close to an existing waste processing plant, which is not functioning at full capacity. The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will provide water and land to the company constructing the facility. The source, The Pune Mirror, does not state any information regarding the technology to be employed by the plant and whether a company has been selected for setting up the plant.
