According to The Indian Express, four bidders interested in the WtE facility in Deonar, Mumbai, have asked for extension to estimate the calorific value of the waste that will be burned in the plant and to conduct contour survey. As a result, the commencement of project construction will be postponed again. The new project tender has been in process since March 2018 and the new deadline has been extended to February 2019.
